The Clap

Mastering Motion Technique and Sideline Instruction The Clap

The clap is used during cheers or chants often that require hands to be in “blades.” Fingers and thumb point toward chin with palms together, while bringing the hands together below the chin. Elbows are pointed down and arms stay tucked close into the body. Thumbs are positioned on the side that is closest to the body.
