Mastering Motion Technique and Sideline Instruction The Clasp

Often the first motion in a cheer or chant, the clasp involves bringing both hands to a ā€œCā€ as if holding a cup with fingers together. For this motion, hands should be below the chin, and elbows facing down with arms tucked close into the body. Thumbs should be placed one on top of the other and should be facing the body.
